I think it was brilliant

The music was prefect, the animation was maybe a little less perfect, but the flash itself is very entertaining.

I like the randomness, and also the fact that you use V for V for Vendetta. It's a good parody of that movie, and so I voted 5. I think can honestly say this is the first time I voted 5 in the portal for about 4 months.

Well done on the flash, keep it up :)

This is the best Circle and Squareman by far!

Loved it. It's randomness is perfectly suited for the style you use, and the duet of Somewhere Over the Rainbow had me laughing in the first few seconds :).

I agree with the Squareman, "WoW sucks" [or at least the people that end up addicted to it make it suck - I swear, WoW has stolen my friends :( ]

Again the voices are brilliant, but if I had one criticism I would have to say that the synchronisation between the voices and animation was slightly off throughout, but overall the animation seemed of a higher quality than episodes #1 and #2, so keep that up, but obviously the style is already enough to make up for any limited animations.

I hope you continue to create these flashes, I think you may just get a mini cult following ^_^.

Great stuff.

Dont know what this is...

But I have to admit, it's extremely cool! Not sure I "got to the end" if there is one, but very nice execution here, smooth transitions and nice sounds effects.

Excellent puzzle game

I'm loving it! I got to level 20 so far, but I'll keep going!

There doesnt seem to be any music mind you, or any sound at all - perhaps there's a problem with the version you've submitted? But this type of game doesnt need sound!

It progresses nicely, and is simple to understand.

I would suggest making it a little more obvious which character is the one you need to move and whch is the one you are aiming to get to, as I found it confusing at first, because they are both animated squares of similar colours.

But yes, I love this game. Well done.

Good start!

I think you may need to rework some of the gameplay itself - dodging objects isnt all that easy to master, equally they all come from the same side of the screen, so perhaps you could add some other dimensions to it.

Good graphics - very fluid and stylized. But the music...! Oh, the music!! Fabulous! and it loops reasonably well too! (Always had a thing for Final Fantasy).

So yes, good overall work there, and a nice little game you have made for us all.

Final criticism, after each round (after you've been hit) a counter appears and displays a somewhat random number, supposedly the number of objects dodged, however it isnt accurate, and climbs up in numbers until you press "Again?". You should sort that out first.

Excellent work so far though. Keep it up ! :)

Pretty sweet, has me swaying from side to side ^_^

I like the song, and the bass effects are pretty PHat. The guitars have a bit too much delay for my liking, but the overall feeling from the bass guitar and the drums (which are equally recorded nicely btw) is very pleasant. And the whole thing loops really nicely too.

Actually I'm very impressed with this - what did you use to record it? Because I've never heard of GarageBand ... and in my blissful ignorance I assumed it was you and some mates playing in garage .. but I'm thinking now it must be a recording prog?

Anyways, good stuff dude!

cosmicrandom responds:

Thanks man. I like this song too.
I used GarageBand to make this song. It's a Mac program that's very easy to use.

That's awesome!

I've been playing Mario Kart DS non stop for the last couple of weeks, and this version completely captures the whole game! It's an exceptionally clear recording, and I would have to assume that most of it is run through a computer, but that's why I'm so impressed - it sounds really well produced, and I like the added effect of the "drum and bass" style drum kicks. Very nice ^_^

Raccoon-Sam responds:

Yeah, thanks!

that's a nice loop!

I've been listening to it on repeat for about 10mins now ... it's really quite cool! I dont know what it is you're doing exactly, but I think maybe the guitar and the drums are playing in differnt time signitures, or something like that, it sounds good though - adds a nice efect to the song, and keeps you interested. And the bass is nice too :)

Overall the levels are good, nothiong is too loud or overbearing, and the whole thing comes together nicely. Well done!

Been on Newgrounds for quite a while now .. I remember when there were only a handful of members. I play guitar, and I hope you check out some of the music I've submitted. Cheers. :)
