Pretty sweet, has me swaying from side to side ^_^

I like the song, and the bass effects are pretty PHat. The guitars have a bit too much delay for my liking, but the overall feeling from the bass guitar and the drums (which are equally recorded nicely btw) is very pleasant. And the whole thing loops really nicely too.

Actually I'm very impressed with this - what did you use to record it? Because I've never heard of GarageBand ... and in my blissful ignorance I assumed it was you and some mates playing in garage .. but I'm thinking now it must be a recording prog?

Anyways, good stuff dude!

Thanks man. I like this song too.
I used GarageBand to make this song. It's a Mac program that's very easy to use.

That's awesome!

I've been playing Mario Kart DS non stop for the last couple of weeks, and this version completely captures the whole game! It's an exceptionally clear recording, and I would have to assume that most of it is run through a computer, but that's why I'm so impressed - it sounds really well produced, and I like the added effect of the "drum and bass" style drum kicks. Very nice ^_^

Yeah, thanks!

that's a nice loop!

I've been listening to it on repeat for about 10mins now ... it's really quite cool! I dont know what it is you're doing exactly, but I think maybe the guitar and the drums are playing in differnt time signitures, or something like that, it sounds good though - adds a nice efect to the song, and keeps you interested. And the bass is nice too :)

Overall the levels are good, nothiong is too loud or overbearing, and the whole thing comes together nicely. Well done!

Sweet

The sounds for the solo are ace! And your general feel for the guitars are great. I like how it speeds up, and the drum machine is nicely tucked in the back, leaving plenty of rrom for the guitars. I have to admit though, I dont recognise this as from DKC2 ... 0_o

The solos are a pleasure to listen to. I like it, I like it a lot :D

peace.

Well this version is slowed down quite a bit from the original SNES version. But you should recognize it if you go to the island map.

that is indeed cool

A good cover here :) I've always heard this as a metal song in my mind, and so now I feel better for having heard it properly :P.

There is one bit where you play some thrash style chords, and I'm not critising the song, but you played that bit too fast - it sounds more like you're struggling to stay in time. But overall this is brilliant. Well done.

Yeah, that's amazing.

I'm throughly impressed! but I have a critism (although I gave it all 10s):

the solo in the quiet section is poorly played, I mean you make like 50 mistakes ... and considering the skill you have (which is obvious from the rest of the song) I dont get why u didnt redo it. Still very good - think I heard a bit of the intro solo to One in there too...

but yeah, seriously, that is awesome. :D

I like what I hear, and I hear what I like.

That's a really cool take on Inspector Gadget. My one beef would be that the heavy guitar at the beginning seems slightly off time, but I cant tell if u meant it that way or not. Still, like the dual guitar solos and the bass sounds very cool. Brings back memories :)
Oh, one more thing as I'm listening to it again - 7 for clarity because the rhythm guitar is too distorted - I know, it;s metal and all that, but it's hard to get it to fit with the effets you've used for the bass espicially.

Been on Newgrounds for quite a while now .. I remember when there were only a handful of members. I play guitar, and I hope you check out some of the music I've submitted. Cheers. :)
